If your free trial has not expired or if you’re subscribed to a plan, all active QR Codes are functioning correctly.
If your QR Codes are not working, it’s most likely due to design elements. Some reader apps and phone cameras have difficulty scanning complex QR Codes.
Below are a few important design elements to take into account.
-
Make sure there is a significant contrast between the QR Code’s foreground and background. The background should be lighter than the foreground. (e.g. a white QR Code on a black background may not be readable by all scanners).
-
Make sure the QR Code’s size is appropriate for the scan distance (in general, Dynamic QR Codes should be no smaller than 2 x 2 cm (.8 x .8 in), and Static QR Codes should be no smaller than 3 x 3 cm (1.2 x 1.2 in)).
-
Make sure the logo, if you’re using one, does not obstruct important elements of the QR Code.
