Can I integrate QRCG by Bitly with Canva?

What is Canva?

Canva is a free, online graphic design tool that anyone can use to create flyers or other printed material, presentations, social media posts, wireframes, and more. 

 

Why integrate QRCG with Canva?

Connecting your QRCG and Canva accounts through the QR Codes - By QRCG Canva app simplifies your workflow. You can create new QR Codes without leaving Canva, or insert any of your created QR Codes from your QRCG account into a Canva design.

 

Every QR Code you create through the app is a Dynamic QR Code, so you can update the destination URL any time after your design is printed or shared. Design once, print once, redirect as needed.

 

Each QR Code you add to a Canva design also stays linked to your QRCG account, where you can track scan performance from your dashboard at any time.

 

How do I use the QR Codes - By QRCG Canva app?

Connect your QRCG account to Canva

To connect your QRCG account to Canva:

  1. Go to the QR Codes – by QRCG app in the Canva app marketplace. Log in to your Canva account, if necessary.

    If you already have a project open, use the Apps menu in the left sidebar and search for QR Codes – by QRCG to open the app. Then skip ahead to step 3.

     
  2. Select Use in existing design or Use in new design.
  3. Your project opens with the QR Codes – by QRCG app in the left sidebar. Click Connect to connect your accounts.
  4. If you're not signed in QRCG, log in or sign up.

Create a QRCG QR Code in Canva

To create a QR Code in Canva:

  1. Log in to your Canva account and open a project.
  2. Click QR Codes – by QRCG in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Create new.
  4. Enter your destination URL and add an optional Title.
  5. Click Create QR Code.

Your QR Code is ready to be added, click or drag the QR Code to add it to your design. 

From here, you can also customize: 

  • Colors
  • Logo
  • Patterns
  • Frames
  • Corners
     

Once you're happy with it, click or drag the QR Code to add it to your design.

 

Add an existing QRCG QR Code to Canva

The QRCG app in the left panel of Canva shows all of your QRCG QR Codes. 

To add an existing QRCG QR Code to a Canva design:

  1. Log in to your Canva account and open a project.
  2. Click QR Codes – by QRCG in the left sidebar.
  3. Select an existing QR Code from the list.
  4. Click or drag the QR Code into your design.

 

Customize a new QRCG QR Code in Canva

After you create a new QR Code in the QR Codes – by QRCG Canva app, you have the option to customize it before adding it to your design. All of your customization options are here — there's no need to leave Canva to customize your QR Codes! You're also able to customize QR Codes you've previously created.

You can customize:
 

  • Colors
  • Logo
  • Patterns
  • Frames
  • Corners

If you have a custom logo, they can only be added to QR Codes from the QRCG by Bitly dashboard. 

 

Customize an existing QRCG Code in Canva

  1. Log in to your Canva account and open a project.
  2. Click QR Codes – by QRCG in the left sidebar.
  3. Select an existing QR Code.
  4. All of your customization options are here. Customize your QR Code. Changes will save automatically. 

Once you're happy with it, click or drag the QR Code to add it to your design.
